BRAND MARK
HALF LIT STUDIOS actively protects its reputation, brand character, and creative goodwill. Where material similarity, timing, market proximity, or presentation gives rise to a likelihood of confusion, HALF LIT reserves all rights under applicable law, including claims in passing off, unfair competition, and misrepresentation.

HALF LIT STUDIOS® has developed a distinctive creative identity, ethos, and brand character through the consistent selection, arrangement, tone, narrative framing, visual language, and contextual use of creative elements by creative director www.jackpiercedigital.com.

We operates within and alongside street culture, subcultural movements, and grassroots creative communities. We recognise that street culture, skate culture, music, fashion, and independent art scenes are collective, evolving, and culturally shared spaces.
For the avoidance of doubt and liability, Half Lit may reference, explore, or respond to themes, cultural themes, locations, subcultures, historical moments, or third-party materials as part of its creative practice.
All Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” HALF LIT makes no guarantees that Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet specific expectations.
CONTENT REGULATIONS, SAFEGUARDING & LIABILITY:
Half Lit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Half Lit Studios’ platforms, events, studios, and content are intended for individuals aged 16+ unless expressly stated otherwis
Half Lit Studios produces film, animation, mixed-media, and experimental visual content. While certain formats, styles, or visual languages (including animation or illustrative techniques) may traditionally be associated with younger audiences, all Half Lit Studios content is created for cultural, editorial, and artistic purposes, not for children, unless expressly stated otherwise.
The use of animation, stylisation, or fictional representation does not indicate suitability for minors. Those who access content should be 16+ or older unless stated otherwise. Where individuals under the age of 18 are involved in any production, workshop, event, or studio activity, Half Lit Studios applies appropriate safeguarding standards and obtains consent where required.

INTEGRITY & STUDIO PROMISE :
At Half Lit Studios we prioritise the integrity, authenticity, and creative value of our brand. To protect our customers and our intellectual property, we take a strict stance against the manufacture, distribution, or sale of counterfeit or imitation goods.
All content, apparel, studio features made available to the public through the Services including but not limited to logos, trademarks, wordmarks, tone of voice, visual identity, design language, clothing designs, graphics, typography, patterns, films, animations, editorials, audio, photography, 3D assets, software, product concepts, naming conventions, and overall brand presentation (collectively, the “HALF LIT IP”) is owned by or licensed to HALF LIT and protected under applicable copyright, trademark, design right, passing off and unfair competition laws
Brand identifiers such as the Half Lit name, the Half Lit logo, and any distinctive brand elements (visual or verbal) are protected as trademarks with the UK IPO. Unless granted licesning or personal permission you are not permitted to copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, transfer, sell, lease, lend or attempt to extract from any part of our studios work whether that is conceptual, ongoing, private, published or designed.
All original creative works produced by the Studio (designs, artwork, graphics, photography, digital files, written content, and brand assets) are automatically protected by copyright upon creation under applicable copyright laws. No materials may be copied, modified, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
We reconigse that photography taken in public spaces may be lawfully captured and may feature a crossover of creative, not all photographs are free from rights. he photographic works, imagery, edits, compositions, and visual outputs of Half Lit Studios are created through:
Professional skill and judgment
Time-intensive creative process
Studio direction, curation and post-production
Natural Documentary
Styling and visualisation
Light & Technical Production
As such, these works constitute original artistic works protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, regardless of whether elements appear publicly accessible or stylistically reproducible.
Reproduction, imitation, adaptation, or commercial use of Half Lit Studios’ photographic works without permission may constitute infringement. Where we appreciate creative overlap in photography directly replicating the setting, theme, composition, tone, mood, messaging will be seen as a breach of copyright.
STUDIO RIGHTS:
Half Lit Studios operates as a creative studio, not merely a retailer or publisher. All studio outputs—including concepts, themes, visual language, tone, narratives, and production methods form part of the Studio’s creative direction and goodwill.
While cultural influence and creative overlap exist in street and studio culture, systematic replication of Half Lit Studios’ distinctive creative direction may amount to infringement or passing off under UK law.
IMPLIED LICENSES:
Unless granted a license and or creative contract all services are provided for personal, commercial use only. You may not, without prior written consent from HALF LIT:
Copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute, sell, license, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit visuals, brand tone, styling, themes, creative direction, photography, UX, artistic
Create derivative works from any HALF LIT content, branding, designs, films, or products. Reverse engineer, scrape, extract, or otherwise attempt to derive source materials, design logic, or creative systems.
FONTS & THEMES:
HALF LIT STUDIOS does not claim ownership over fonts, software tools, artistic movements, historical references, cultural motifs, or stylistic techniques that are in the public domain or licensed from third parties.
However, the specific combination, contextual use, sequencing, tone, and creative direction in which such elements are deployed by HALF LIT constitutes original expression and brand goodwill. The ideas of HALF LIT are

AI CREATIVE & MACHINE LEARNING
HALF LIT STUDIOS acknowledges that artificial intelligence and machine-assisted tools may be used in the creation, refinement, or exploration of certain outputs.
Unless expressly stated:
HALF LIT content is not licensed for AI training, scraping, or dataset inclusion
No permission is granted for automated systems to ingest, replicate, or emulate HALF LIT’s creative outputs, brand tone, or stylistic frameworks
The use of AI-generated or AI-assisted tools by third parties does not permit the replication of HALF LIT’s brand character, narrative voice, or creative direction in a manner that gives rise to confusion or misrepresentation.
We support the government in AI with learningm, development, science and creative that improves a persons ability to bolster their skills that develop self-driven production to ensure the creative protection of people, tradermarks and creative work balances with machine led futures.
Automated, backend access or updated terms and conditions do not safeguard this activity.
TERMINATION OF ACCESS
HALF LIT may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, without notice, where these Terms are breached or where protection of brand, users, or legal interests requires it.
ICO DATA PROTECTION
WE are an ICO-registered organisation, we comply with UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
We collect and process personal data only for order fulfilment, communication, and service improvement, legal operations and accounting. Additional data such as emails, social media engagement and any data provided through our forms is stored securely and never sold to third parties and for the purpose of marketing activities. Any data stored is protected and can be removed at any time per your request.
DIGITAL ASSETS & CREATIVE FILES
All digital assets are non-refundable once delivered or accessed
This includes downloadable artwork, design files, or digital studio releases Nothing in these terms places Half Lit Studios’ works into the public domain. All goodwill arising from the use of the Half Lit name, studio identity, or creative output remains the exclusive property of Half Lit Studios.
